At present, the filament winding molding process is very mature. This method is usually selected when choosing the process of manufacturing composite pressure vessels. According to the different filament winding line types, it can be divided into spiral winding, hoop winding and longitudinal winding. This is the composite material pressure. Three basic winding line types of the container.
1. Spiral winding
It is usually wound along the geodesic line, and the included angle with the axis of the mandrel is generally between to. This winding line type can provide both hoop bearing capacity and axial bearing capacity. Both the barrel section and the head section can be spirally wound, but in principle the size of the pole holes at both ends of the composite pressure vessel is required to be equal.
2. Circumferential winding
Winding along the circumference of the mandrel, this winding wire type can only provide hoop load-bearing capacity, so it is rarely used alone, and generally used in combination with other winding wire types. Its characteristic is that the barrel section of the composite pressure vessel can be wound circumferentially, but the head section cannot be wound circumferentially, and the included angle with the axis of the core mold is close.
3. Longitudinal winding
Also known as plane winding, the included angle with the axis of the core mold is generally between 0°and 25°, and is tangent to the pole holes at both ends. This winding line type mainly provides longitudinal load-bearing capacity. Both the barrel section and the head section can be wound longitudinally, and can be used for containers with different polar holes at both ends, and mostly for short and thick containers.
The three winding wire types have their own advantages and disadvantages. In the actual winding molding process, one winding wire type is rarely used alone, and two or more winding wire types are often used.
